It addresses key priorities like health, housing, education, economic growth, and cultural preservation. With goals to build prosperity, improve governance, and protect the environment, this plan reflects the collective voice of the community, focusing on long-term growth and unity.
Blue Jean Jacket Day was launched for the first time in Edmonton on June 6, 2023 and raises awareness about missing and murdered Indigenous men and boys. It is meant to serve as a counterpart to Red Dress Day, which takes place on May 5.

On behalf of the Indigenous Connections team at the Atlantic Community Outreach and Liaison Services team at Service Canada, I am very pleased to write to inform you of our next virtual information session on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, on the topic of What to do when a loved one passes.
In this session, we will go over what we should do when a loved one passes regarding their affairs with the federal government. After a presentation and demonstration of a resource on the Government of Canada website, we will open the floor for your questions.
